Yeah. Same here. And only if it's a harder ball, like a baseball. Soccerballs and footballs I'm okay with.

Aww. I was catcher once on a team(YUCK), and you know that spot on the helmet that has no bars so you can see clearly? The baseball stuck right in that. Sacred me SO bad, and actually knocked me backwards.
