Always stunk at math, and don't enjoy it one bit. Despite this fact I do not deny the usefulness of such a subject. Still don't like it.

No, it definitely has it's purpose. But I think some things are a little overboard. Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division. Once you have those totally mastered, I think that's it! Oh, and averaging.
